Between the second half of the 19th century and the first half of the 20th century, monumental sculpture had a notable presence in Buenos Aires. These monuments characterize and give value to different areas of our city. This course aims to study its historical development, from the inaugural May Pyramid passing through the great monuments of the First Centennial, until the 1930s and 1940s. This tour will also allow observing and analyzing the different sculptural styles and movements of each era.
